IT System Engineer Projekte (m/w/d) – Nürnberg

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking an IT System Engineer for project-focused infrastructure work in Nürnberg. In this role, you will take technical ownership of complex IT infrastructure projects from conception through go-live.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, planning, and implementing IT infrastructure projects including server and network infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid solutions
• Taking technical responsibility within projects and translating customer requirements into robust solution concepts alongside consulting and sales teams
• Executing migrations from on-premises environments to cloud and hybrid scenarios, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Supporting clients through the transition into operations after project completion
• Developing expertise in at least one specialization area such as Microsoft Azure, network and security, cloud architecture, or Microsoft 365, serving as an internal technical resource
• Creating technical documentation and operational concepts, sharing knowledge across teams

What We're Looking For

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT system engineering, system administration, or comparable role, ideally in a managed services or project environment
• Strong knowledge in multiple areas including Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and Microsoft 365
• Proven experience independently delivering IT projects directly at customer sites
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with enthusiasm for solving technical challenges independently and driving projects forward
• Valid driver's license (Class B) for customer project visits in Nürnberg and the surrounding region
