Werkstudent (m/w/d) – Information Security

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media technology organization in Hamburg seeking a working student to join their Information Security team. This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) starting November 1, 2026, initially contracted for one year. Through Get A Job.ai, you'll gain hands-on experience in IT and information security while supporting a team responsible for critical infrastructure and digital security.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and maintenance of security policies and security concepts
• Assist in evaluating risks associated with new tools and AI solutions from an information security perspective, documenting findings in a clear and traceable manner
• Analyze and document security requirements and processes, helping to define and track security measures
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives including training programs, phishing simulations, emergency drills, and internal newsletters
• Research current security and compliance topics and prepare summaries for the team
• Create presentations, evaluations, and documentation to support information security activities

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT/Cyber Security, Information Management, or a comparable field (proof of enrollment required)
• Basic understanding and/or initial practical experience in IT, IT/Cyber Security, or IT Compliance is desirable
• Familiarity with information security standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI-Grundschutz is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Structured, careful, and reliable working style
• Ability to present results clearly and comprehensibly, with confidence to share your perspective
• Very good German language skills are essential for this role
