Account Executive

Xplor is seeking an Account Executive to join our merchant sales team in a full-time, remote position based in Bastrop, TX, US. You'll develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers, driving revenue growth through consultative selling and strategic account management.

Role Overview

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the full sales cycle with assigned merchant accounts. Your role centers on understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals that support business expansion. Working remotely from Bastrop, you'll collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success from initial contact through contract closure and beyond.

Your Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and engage potential merchant clients through outbound calls, emails, and strategic meetings
• Conduct needs assessments and product demonstrations to align solutions with customer business objectives
• Negotiate terms, close sales agreements, and consistently meet or exceed assigned quota targets
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems
• Build long-term relationships with key accounts and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with product, support, and operations teams to resolve customer issues and drive retention

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in merchant services, SaaS, or payment solutions
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quota
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with diverse customer types
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales productivity tools
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to thrive independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, competitive setting with resilience and adaptability
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales experience preferred
