We are representing a financially successful international organization based in Hamburg that is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to take ownership of their Azure platform evolution. This is not a maintenance role – you will actively shape cloud strategy, drive technical decisions, and work in a modern IT environment with significant investment in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the operation and continuous development of the enterprise-wide Microsoft Azure environment (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Contribute ideas to cloud strategy development and actively participate in technical decision-making
• Evaluate new technologies, architectures, and migration scenarios; develop future-proof operational concepts
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance requirements are integrated into cloud solutions
• Analyze and continuously optimize performance and availability of cloud services
• Support colleagues on technical questions and contribute expertise to infrastructure projects

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience building, operating, or evolving Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and the Azure platform
• Experience with cloud architectures and solid understanding of security, governance, and infrastructure topics
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and developing sustainable solutions collaboratively
• Excellent German and good English language skills
• Location: Hamburg with flexible remote work (2–4 days per week remote possible)
