Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential software organization seeking a Senior Product Engineer to transform how forecasting models are designed, deployed, and scaled. In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and iterate on plugin-based forecasting models from end to end, including feature engineering, testing, and performance optimization in live customer environments
• Take ownership of forecasting challenges from initial business requirements through to production deployment, making key technical decisions throughout the process
• Work directly across multiple customer environments to identify patterns that can be generalized versus solutions that need customer-specific customization
• Leverage AI and agentic tools as a core part of your development workflow, actively pushing the boundaries of what these tools can accomplish
• Operate with significant autonomy in a distributed team environment without rigid processes or playbooks
• Communicate directly with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
• Travel occasionally for customer engagements, approximately one to two trips per year

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a senior-level engineer who brings both technical depth and independent problem-solving capabilities:

• Applied or theoretical understanding of modern forecasting and modeling methods
• Proven track record of independently owning machine learning or modeling work from concept through production deployment
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted engineering and comfort being evaluated on problem-solving approach and ability to direct AI tools effectively
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments without fixed processes
• Confidence making independent decisions and shipping solutions in weeks rather than months
• Strong communication skills for working with customers and cross-functional teams
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Valid work authorization for EMEA or Eastern US locations
• Prior experience in retail or supply chain is welcome but not required
• International team experience and strong organizational skills are valued
