Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential energy sector organization seeking a Software Tester to join their technical team in Erlangen. In this role, you will:
- Plan, develop, execute, and document software tests according to test plans, technical specifications, and international nuclear standards
- Create test specifications based on requirements, including test automation
- Evaluate software defects and create error reports in the ticketing system
- Review development and test documentation, including code reviews
- Prepare documentation in English
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Several years of professional experience as a software developer/tester working with C/C++
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language
- English language proficiency at B1 level or higher
- Knowledge of MISRA-C:2012 coding guidelines (advantageous)
- Familiarity with GIT version control system (desirable)
- Linux user-level knowledge (desirable)
- ISTQB® Certified Tester certification (desirable)
