Senior Quality Engineer

Join REXEL as a Senior Quality Engineer in Santa Clara, California. In this full-time role within our Supply Chain organization, you'll lead quality assurance initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence across our supply chain processes.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll take ownership of quality strategy and execution across supply chain operations. You'll establish and enforce quality standards, manage testing and validation processes, investigate quality issues, and mentor junior team members. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to minimize defects, optimize workflows, and support sustainable business growth.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management processes aligned with industry standards and company objectives
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues and supply chain disruptions
• Design and execute testing protocols to validate processes, materials, and systems
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and present findings to leadership
• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to identify improvement opportunities
• Document procedures, maintain quality records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Mentor and develop engineering team members; provide technical guidance and training
• Conduct supplier audits and quality reviews to ensure partner alignment with REXEL standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, process documentation, and data-driven decision making
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Supply chain or operations background preferred
