About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B e-commerce organization based in Hamburg for a Senior SEO & Onsite Manager role. This is a fixed-term parental leave cover position with the opportunity to make a measurable impact on organic visibility and conversion optimization across German-speaking markets.

We are seeking an experienced SEO professional who can bridge technical optimization, content strategy, and e-commerce performance. You will own the organic search presence and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive traffic and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-page and technical SEO initiatives, including regular audits and implementation of optimization measures
• Drive visibility in large language models and generative search environments
• Optimize category pages, product pages, content hubs, blog articles, and guidance content for both traditional and generative search
• Conduct keyword and topic research to inform new content development
• Continuously improve shop navigation, internal linking structures, and site architecture
• Manage seasonal campaigns, banners, and promotional content areas within the online shops
• Analyze SEO and e-commerce KPIs, measuring impact on traffic and conversion rates
• Collaborate with technology teams, marketing colleagues, and external service providers

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in SEO and e-commerce, ideally within B2B environments
• Strong proficiency with SEO and analytics tools, shop systems, and foundational HTML knowledge
• Analytical mindset with solid understanding of data, conversion optimization, and digital marketing
• Strategic thinking combined with autonomous execution capabilities
• German at C2 level and good English (B2 level)
• Ability to identify SEO opportunities, implement solutions, and measure business impact
