Senior Frontend Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building mobile-first financial products for underserved markets. They are scaling rapidly and need a senior frontend engineer who can take full ownership of user-facing features from concept to production.

This is a remote position requiring timezone overlap with the Eastern Hemisphere (APAC/EMEA regions).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complex features across web and mobile applications using Angular and Ionic
• Own features end-to-end: understand requirements, design technical approach, implement, deploy, and iterate based on user feedback
• Contribute to technical direction by advocating for better patterns, tooling, and developer experience
• Partner with product and design teams to define solutions collaboratively
• Write clean, performant code while maintaining high velocity
• Elevate team standards through code reviews, technical input, and mentorship
• Leverage AI tools daily for coding, debugging, and accelerating development workflows

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience shipping complex user-facing products in production environments
• Strong product instincts with willingness to challenge requirements when they don't serve users well
• Deep TypeScript fundamentals including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Proven ability to operate independently and drive problems to resolution with minimal guidance
• Pragmatic judgment on balancing architectural decisions with speed of learning
• Clear communication skills to articulate tradeoffs and advocate for technical approaches
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, or similar)
• Comfort working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Focus on iterative improvement over large rewrites
• Bias toward learning from real users rather than pursuing architectural purity
