The Opportunity

Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a dedicated SHE Specialist to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives in Yorkton. As a SHE Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing programs that protect our team members, safeguard our environment, and ensure operational compliance. Core Duties

  • Collaborate with management and department heads to identify hazards and control risks

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a safety, health, or environmental role, preferably in a production or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian occupational health and safety legislation and standards
  • Excellent communication and training skills; ability to engage employees at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in incident investigation, hazard analysis, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional certification in occupational health and safety (such as CRSP, CIH, or equivalent) is preferred
  • Full-time availability; on-site presence in Yorkton, Saskatchewan required
