General Manager – Live In Available

Greene King is seeking a full-time General Manager for our pub located in Martlesham, Suffolk. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team performance across our venue.

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Martlesham establishment. In this full-time role, you'll oversee all aspects of the business—from service delivery and financial performance to staff development—whilst maintaining our high standards of hospitality. Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Lead and motivate your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
• Manage daily operations including opening procedures, service standards, and closing routines
• Maintain financial performance, budgets, and revenue targets whilst controlling costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Drive guest satisfaction and manage customer relations with professionalism and care
• Oversee stock management, purchasing, and supplier relationships
• Implement company policies and brand standards across all areas of the venue
