Language Arts Teacher

Responsibilities

Our client, a prominent online education organization, is seeking a Language Arts Teacher to deliver engaging remote instruction to elementary students. In this role, you will:

• Teach live online classes focusing on reading comprehension, speaking skills, and writing development
• Prepare and deliver structured lessons using provided curriculum materials and resources
• Manage virtual classrooms with small groups of students, maintaining engagement and participation
• Grade assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor individual student progress
• Communicate professionally with students and families regarding learning objectives and academic performance
• Participate in ongoing teacher training sessions, curriculum planning meetings, and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

We are representing our client in the search for educators who bring:

• Native-level English proficiency with strong command of American English
• Previous teaching experience in U.S. schools (public, private, or charter) with elementary ELA instruction, particularly grades 1-4
• Bachelor's degree required; Education, English, or Language Arts majors strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of elementary literacy development, reading instruction methodologies, and writing support strategies
• Comfort with online teaching platforms and virtual classroom management tools
• Student-centered approach with enthusiasm for inspiring young learners
• Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including afternoon, evening, and weekend hours aligned with U.S. time zones
• Commitment to at least one full academic semester preferred

Pay

This is a remote, full-time position. Compensation includes teaching hours and non-teaching responsibilities such as lesson preparation, grading, and parent communication. Performance-based retention bonuses may be available based on student outcomes.
