About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential defense technology organization based in Berlin. Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth within their air systems division. This is a strategic role focused on building relationships with military customers, government agencies, and defense industry partners.

If you have deep roots in the defense sector or have achieved success in enterprise sales with the ability to quickly understand complex defense programs, this role offers the opportunity to make significant impact in a high-stakes industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strategic customer relationships within air force organizations and the broader air systems ecosystem
• Identify, develop, and successfully close complex sales opportunities in the defense environment
• Navigate military procurement processes and manage relevant stakeholders across government and defense organizations
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate customer requirements into commercial solutions
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events
• Develop long-term account strategies and own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close
• Actively contribute to shaping the go-to-market strategy for air systems offerings

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Several years of experience in B2B or government sales
• Proven track record selling complex technical solutions
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Self-directed and structured work approach in dynamic environments
• Fluent English language skills

Preferred:

• Experience in the defense or aerospace industry
• Existing network within military air force organizations or NATO
• Familiarity with air systems programs and procurement
