Role Overview

Core Duties

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Air Force leadership, procurement officers, and operational teams
• Identify business development opportunities aligned with Air Force modernization priorities and procurement cycles
• Collaborate with 3M's product, engineering, and sales teams to develop tailored solutions for Air Force requirements
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and technical documentation that communicate 3M's capabilities to government stakeholders

• Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment between client expectations and 3M's service delivery capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of business development, account management, or sales experience in the federal government or defense contracting sector
• Demonstrated success building and managing complex, strategic client relationships
• Strong understanding of Air Force procurement processes, organizational structure, and decision-making dynamics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience navigating federal compliance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, public administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one required
