Restaurant Team Member – Cook

Noodles & Company is looking for a Restaurant Team Member - Cook to work at its Lauderdale, Ramsey County restaurant, supporting the back‑of‑house team that prepares fresh meals for guests.

About the Role

This part‑time position places you in the kitchen where you’ll help create made‑to‑order dishes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to a positive dining experience for every guest. You’ll work closely with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and with care.

What You'll Do

• Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and storing them according to recipe standards.
• Cook menu items to order, following established cooking times and temperatures to guarantee quality and safety.
• Monitor cooking equipment, adjust heat levels, and troubleshoot minor issues to keep service flowing smoothly.
• Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and floors throughout your shift.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, checking inventory, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate ticket times and support during peak periods.
• Adhere to all company policies, including food safety guidelines and workplace safety practices.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment is helpful but not required; we welcome enthusiastic beginners.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work comfortably in a warm kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following recipes and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for delivering great food and a willingness to learn new techniques.
