The Opportunity

Jobot is expanding its Tampa litigation practice and seeking a Litigation Paralegal to take a hands-on role in case management, legal research, and trial preparation. This full-time position offers competitive compensation ($65,000–$90,000 annually) and the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on diverse matters. Responsibilities

• Manage case files, evidence organization, document indexing, and filing systems
• Conduct legal research and assist with memoranda, briefs, and trial documentation
• Coordinate discovery exchanges, oversee document reviews, and manage opposing counsel communications
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, mediations, client meetings, and court hearings
• Prepare trial materials, witness binders, exhibit compilations, and evidence presentations
• Monitor court calendars, filing deadlines, and procedural compliance requirements
• Gather information from clients and provide case status updates
• Support attorneys with motion practice, pleadings, and court filings

What You Bring

• Paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies (or equivalent litigation experience)
• Professional experience in civil litigation, law firms, or corporate legal departments
• Proficiency with legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar tools)
• Ability to manage multiple cases with strong organizational and time management skills
• Competency with word processing, spreadsheets, and litigation support software
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong work ethic and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
