AtWork is hiring a full-time MAZAK Laser Operator for our Blue Mound location in Tarrant County. If you're an experienced laser operator with a safety-first mindset and the precision needed to produce high-quality metal components, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a day-shift position running Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. As a MAZAK Laser Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating state-of-the-art MAZAK laser cutting machines to manufacture high-precision metal components. You'll work in a fast-paced production environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to success.
What You'll Do
- Set up and configure MAZAK laser cutting machines for production runs
- Operate laser equipment to cut, engrave, and mark metal materials with precision
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser systems
- Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality compliance
- Maintain production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Document production data and communicate with supervisors on shift
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating MAZAK laser cutting machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Safety-focused mindset with understanding of laser equipment protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for day-shift hours (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to follow company procedures
