Dermatology Physician

University of Missouri School of Medicine's Department of Dermatology seeks a faculty-level Dermatology Physician to lead clinical excellence and medical education in Pierpont, Boone County. This full-time position, available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on your experience, offers a unique opportunity to grow a vibrant dermatology practice within a supportive academic medical environment.

About the Role

You'll join our Department of Dermatology as a clinical faculty member, combining direct patient care with resident and medical student education. In this full-time role, you'll have the autonomy to develop your clinical interests—whether in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, or specialized dermatologic surgery—while benefiting from the resources, collaborative culture, and scholarly infrastructure of an academic medical center. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes across our service region and shape the next generation of dermatologists.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive dermatological care to a diverse, multi-age patient population
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical supervision and didactic sessions
• Participate in departmental committee work, grand rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement efforts
• Engage in clinical research or scholarly activities aligned with departmental priorities
• Collaborate with colleagues in pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and other specialties
• Contribute to the expansion and evolution of our dermatology clinical programs
