Beverage Manager

Role Overview

As Beverage Manager at Montage in Healdsburg, you will oversee all aspects of our beverage program, from wine selection and service to team leadership and operational management. This full-time position places you at the heart of our culinary experience, where your expertise elevates every guest interaction and contributes directly to our reputation for hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Curate and manage wine, spirits, and beverage selections that align with our dining concepts and guest preferences
• Lead and mentor beverage service staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and consistent service excellence
• Monitor inventory, costs, and profitability across all beverage programs and venues
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with wine and spirits vendors and distributors
• Create innovative beverage offerings and seasonal menus that enhance dining experiences and drive revenue
• Ensure full compliance with alcohol service regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards
• Partner with culinary and front-of-house leadership to execute cohesive guest experiences

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience as a Beverage Manager or in an equivalent hospitality role
• Comprehensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service protocols
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, inventory, and financial performance
• Track record building and developing high-performing service teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest service
• Wine or spirits certification (WSET, Sommelier, or equivalent) preferred
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts typical of hospitality operations
