What You'll Do
- Direct sales and business development with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and transit authorities across North America
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships to expand market reach and penetration in the rail industry
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets, bookings goals, and margin objectives
- Promote Saft rail battery products, educating customers on features, performance, and value proposition
- Manage customer satisfaction and resolve technical or service issues to maintain long-term relationships
- Work with operations teams on accounts payable matters related to customer payment resolution
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new revenue opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sales, or a related field
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in industrial equipment, transportation, or rail sector
- Experience selling directly to large customers such as OEMs or government transit systems
- Strong ability to establish partnerships and manage complex, long-sales-cycle relationships
- Demonstrated skill in meeting and managing sales quotas and revenue targets
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel to meet customer needs across North America
