About the Role

As an Architectural Designer at our Boston location, you'll play a key role in developing design concepts, creating detailed architectural drawings, and supporting project teams from initial concept through construction documentation. This is a full-time position where you'll apply your design skills to diverse project types and contribute to the quality and vision that define Harley Ellis Devereaux's work.

What You'll Do

• Develop architectural designs and design concepts in response to project briefs and client needs
• Create and refine construction documents, technical drawings, and architectural specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to coordinate design and building systems
• Research building materials, codes, and best practices to inform design decisions
• Prepare presentation materials and renderings to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders
• Support sustainable design practices and code compliance throughout project development
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen project outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency with design and CAD software, including Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong drawing and visualization skills with attention to detail and design quality
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
