Gifted Healthcare is seeking a PRN LTAC Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In this position, you'll deliver specialized, compassionate care to patients navigating extended recovery periods and complex medical needs.

About the Role

As an LTAC RN, you'll be instrumental in managing the care of patients requiring long-term acute care services. You'll conduct thorough assessments, provide clinical interventions, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and social workers—to develop individualized care plans that support optimal recovery outcomes and successful transitions to appropriate levels of care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical progress, vital signs, and response to interventions
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, wound care, feeding tubes, and other specialized treatments
• Collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment plans based on patient condition and recovery goals
• Document all patient encounters and clinical findings in the electronic medical record with accuracy and detail
• Provide compassionate patient and family communication, ensuring understanding of care plans and progress
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and infection control procedures

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in Oklahoma
• Current knowledge of LTAC nursing practices or willingness to develop expertise in this specialty
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize changes in patient status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
