Grain Production Worker – Seasonal

About the Role

You'll be part of Cargill's Agricultural Supply Chain team during our active production season. Working in our Lafayette grain handling facility, you'll develop production expertise while contributing to the sourcing, storage, and distribution of grains and oilseeds that move through our global supply network. This hands-on role offers real opportunity to build skills in a dynamic agricultural environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate grain handling and production equipment in compliance with safety standards
• Monitor grain quality, moisture content, and condition throughout processing
• Manage inventory records and track products through our facility
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization to support efficient operations
• Ensure all work follows established safety protocols and company procedures
• Support the team in meeting seasonal production schedules and targets

What We're Looking For

• Physical ability to perform manual labor in a production environment
• Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
• Reliability and willingness to follow procedures consistently
• Mechanical aptitude or prior equipment experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
