You'll partner with clients across Columbus to notarize legal documents at their preferred locations, serving everyone from individual signers to businesses requiring timely authentication. Your work ensures both convenience and adherence to Ohio's notary regulations.
What You'll Do
- Travel to client offices, homes, hospitals, and other locations to perform document notarizations
- Verify signer identity using appropriate documentation per state requirements
- Witness document signings and apply notary seals in full compliance with Ohio law
- Maintain accurate, organized records of all notarized transactions
- Communicate clearly with clients to confirm document needs and scheduling
- Follow all ethical guidelines and notarization procedures without exception
- Coordinate appointments and manage your schedule independently
What We're Looking For
- Current Ohio notary public commission
- Proven experience as a mobile notary or professional legal document signer
- In-depth understanding of notarization procedures and state legal requirements
- Professional demeanor and strong client-facing communication skills
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client appointments
- Meticulous attention to detail with legal documentation
- Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling based on client availability
