About the Role

What You'll Do

• Travel to client locations within Mesa and surrounding Maricopa County communities to witness signatures on legal documents.
• Verify signer identity using acceptable forms of identification in accordance with Arizona notary law.
• Ensure documents are complete, properly dated, and free of alterations before applying your notary seal and signature.
• Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date notary journal of all acts performed, securing it as required by state regulations.
• Provide clear, courteous explanations of the notarization process to clients, answering questions while remaining impartial.
• Manage your daily schedule, prioritize appointments, and adapt to last‑minute changes or urgent requests.
• Handle any necessary fees or payments securely and provide receipts when appropriate.
• Stay current with Arizona notary statutes, best practices, and any required continuing education.
• Report any suspicious activity or potential fraud to the appropriate authorities or company compliance officer.

What We're Looking For

• Active Arizona notary public commission in good standing.
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance suitable for frequent travel.
