Working Student – European Security Programme (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international policy organization based in Berlin. As a Working Student supporting their European Security Programme, you will:

• Assist in organizing events, including preparing participant lists, sending invitations, tracking registrations, and liaising with attendees
• Support research activities by following relevant debates and monitoring political developments related to the programme's focus areas
• Handle logistical tasks such as coordinating with venues, hotels, and catering companies
• Monitor and respond to the general programme inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication with partners and participants
• Update and maintain the programme's contact database

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Political Science, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field at a German university or higher education institution (graduates are not eligible)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong critical thinking, research, and analytical skills
• Proactive and flexible attitude, with willingness to take on varied responsibilities including administrative and logistical tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable and flexible with willingness to take on varied tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team
• Must be eligible to work in Germany
