Working Student Computer Science (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace organization seeking a working student to join their Ground Systems Engineering Applications team in Ottobrunn, Bavaria. In this role, you will contribute directly to software systems that support operations and development of advanced launch technologies. You will work alongside experienced software engineers and aerospace specialists, gaining hands-on experience with modern software stacks used in the aerospace industry.

Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining in-house software used to operate test facilities and launch systems. This position is essential for enabling reliable and efficient operations, testing, and development activities.

Specifically, you will:

• Implement new features and improve existing software applications
• Contribute to full-stack development, working on both backend and frontend components
• Help automate engineering processes to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical software systems

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Familiarity with frontend or backend web development (Node.js and/or C#/.NET or another object-oriented programming language)
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Organized and proactive approach with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and team-player mindset
• Fluent in English

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable software architecture
