Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a working student to support their category management operations. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the team, working across multiple regions to ensure digital product catalogs are accurately maintained and optimized.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Product Creation & Onboarding: Create and configure new products in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and customer-ready from day one.
  • Tool Support & Validation: Support the implementation and use of automation tools, performing quality control and critically reviewing processes to ensure system outputs are correct.
  • Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales and inventory anomalies, investigating system issues when priority items show as unavailable or underperform to maximize digital shelf revenue.
  • Content & Storefront Optimization: Quickly resolve issues that hinder sales, such as missing product photos or incomplete item information in the customer-facing application.
  • Supply Chain & Inbound Coordination: Support the team with daily commercial supply chain questions and resolve product delivery issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide strong operational support across various priority levels, working closely with category, brand, and cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a Master's program in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a comparable field.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong logical thinking skills, and natural curiosity to investigate and solve operational challenges.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, proactive attitude toward taking ownership, and comfort managing daily workflows.
  • Genuine affinity for the food retail industry and enthusiasm for working with new software and automated systems.
  • Availability to work 16-20 hours per week.
  • Fluent German and English language skills required.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, product information management systems, or data analysis is a plus.
