Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential strategy and data consulting firm seeking a Senior Consultant for their Berlin or Munich office. In this role, you will bridge technical capabilities and business strategy, guiding clients through data and AI transformations.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Client advisory and strategy: Partner with German and international clients to translate business needs into data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making and digital transformation
• Data analysis and insights: Collect, synthesize, and analyze data to create actionable insights using modern AI-native tools including LLM platforms (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT), agentic workflow tools, and automation platforms. Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Project delivery: Take ownership of project workstreams, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery within interdisciplinary teams spanning consulting, data, and technology functions
• AI solution development: Support the creation of data strategies, AI use cases, and business intelligence solutions, contributing to governance frameworks and implementation roadmaps
• Knowledge sharing: Stay current with digital and AI trends while fostering a collaborative team culture through active knowledge exchange
• Business development: Contribute to growth initiatives by supporting client proposals, shaping service offerings, and developing intellectual capital such as frameworks and benchmarks

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks driven professionals with intellectual curiosity and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate brings:

• Experience: 2-3+ years in management consulting, technology consulting, or corporate strategy roles with proven involvement in data/AI strategy, cloud transformation, or applied AI/ML projects
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field
• AI fluency: Strong understanding of modern AI technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, and predictive analytics. Experience conceptualizing AI use cases or data platform implementations is highly valued
• Analytical mindset: Ability to identify business problems and translate them into practical AI and data-driven solutions, combining analytical rigor with business perspective
• Technical skills: Proficiency with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and confidence leveraging AI tools—from LLM environments to agentic workflows—to accelerate analysis and delivery. Comfort with structured data and new tools is expected; SQL or Python experience is beneficial but not required
• Communication: Business-fluent German and English required for client workshops, stakeholder presentations, and deliverable creation. Additional languages are a plus
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and translate requirements between business stakeholders and technical experts
• Personal attributes: Proactive, structured, solution-oriented approach with strong client focus. Thrives in dynamic environments solving complex problems
• Work eligibility: Valid work permit for Germany required
