Virtual Account Executive

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential networking technology organization in their search for a Virtual Account Executive based in Massy, France. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 office days per week.

As a Virtual Account Executive, you'll focus on acquiring new business and developing existing accounts within assigned territories and verticals. Your time will be split approximately 70% on active selling and 30% on supporting tasks such as preparing quotes and partner coordination.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new logo business and build a strong sales pipeline
• Actively seek out and develop new customers and opportunities
• Proactively contact existing clients to maximize business potential through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
• Engage with new leads provided by the operations team and maximize conversion of marketing-qualified leads into real opportunities
• Generate new sales leads and opportunities independently
• Acquire and develop your own customer portfolio with direct end-user engagement
• Provide consistent interaction with existing customers
• Communicate information about new products, services, and operational changes to customers in a timely manner
• Maintain and build strong account relationships
• Represent the organization at industry trade shows and conferences (travel required)
• Support partners by providing quotes to incoming requests
• Manage day-to-day client meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely customer information in CRM (Salesforce)
• Manage jobs from quotation stage through booking while communicating service issues effectively
• Follow up on quotes and provide internal liaison with operations teams
• Report activities to the country manager

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a sales professional in a B2B environment
• Strong new business acquisition and account development skills
• Excellent ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and conferences
• Fluency in French and English
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 2-3 office days per week

Pay

On-target earnings (OTE) are structured on a 55/45 split between base and commission, ranging from €60,000 to €80,000 based on qualifications and experience.
