SEO/GEO Manager / Organic Visibility Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a progressive digital marketing agency in Frankfurt am Main that is seeking an SEO/GEO Manager to help shape the future of organic visibility for their clients.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies including on-page, off-page, and technical optimization for national and international brands
• Pioneer generative engine optimization (GEO) efforts by analyzing and improving client visibility in AI-powered search systems including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar platforms
• Collaborate with content and development teams to ensure strong technical foundations including structured data, Core Web Vitals, and crawlability
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators including organic traffic, rankings, visibility metrics, and conversions using Google Search Console, GA4, and industry tools
• Work cross-functionally with paid search, content, and conversion optimization teams to create integrated marketing strategies
• Leverage generative AI tools to optimize workflows, develop content briefs, and accelerate decision-making processes
• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients through compelling presentations

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Approximately 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience with focus on on-page, technical SEO, and/or content optimization
• Proficiency with standard SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Sistrix, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret visibility metrics, organic traffic data, rankings, and conversion rates
• Basic understanding of adjacent marketing disciplines including paid search, conversion rate optimization, content marketing, and web analytics
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English with ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly AI-powered search and generative engine optimization
• Hypothesis-driven testing mindset and willingness to learn from experiments
• Desire to develop into a strategic advisor rather than remain purely tactical

Experience with GEO and AI visibility optimization is a strong plus, though enthusiasm to learn this emerging field is equally valued.
