Vice President, BizOps

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential pet nutrition startup in their search for a Vice President of Business Operations. Our client is a Miami-based organization focused on premium, science-backed pet food products. They are building an AI-first operating system and need a strategic operator to drive execution across the business.

This role reports directly to the CEO and serves as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, turning data into decisions and priorities into results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's operating rhythm and execution excellence, partnering with the executive team to prioritize initiatives by impact and ensure rapid, effective implementation
• Own the execution and integration of the company's AI-first operating system, partnering with Engineering and Data Science teams on development while leading organization-wide adoption
• Apply analytical expertise to extract key signals from internal and external data, translating them into actionable insights and company priorities
• Own measurement and forecasting of customer lifetime value and acquisition economics, including retention modeling, revenue forecasting, acquisition attribution, and incrementality analysis
• Lead FP&A and demand planning with a focus on next-generation, AI-driven approaches to forecasting and business planning
• Manage complex cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership and accountability structures

What We're Looking For

• 7–10 years of experience across business operations, data analytics, strategic finance, or financial forecasting
• Deep expertise driving execution and managing complex cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to materially improve workflows, analysis, and decision-making
• Experience building and scaling systems at high-growth organizations, preferably in consumer businesses
• Systems thinker who can operate effectively at both strategic and executional levels
• Passion for scaling consumer businesses
