About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client serving the financial services sector. Our client has built a compliance-sensitive product used by thousands of advisory firms nationwide, and they need an experienced operations leader to own the trust and compliance function that supports their sales process.

This role exists because every deal in financial services requires security and compliance diligence—VDDQs, RFPs, RFIs—and today that work falls on individual account executives with no central owner, no knowledge base, and no visibility into cycle-time impact. You will build and own this function end to end, turning diligence from a bottleneck into a repeatable, self-service capability that accelerates deals and reinforces buyer trust.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for all vendor due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and RFIs—new business, renewals, and expansions
  • Take full ownership of response workflows: intake, drafting, internal review, and submission to defined SLAs
  • Build and maintain a living knowledge base of audit-ready answers to recurring security, privacy, and compliance questions
  • Own the structure, taxonomy, versioning, and upkeep of the due diligence data room
  • Partner with Engineering to scope and launch a self-service trust center when process maturity supports it
  • Act as connective tissue between Security, Legal, Product, and the commercial teams, ensuring accurate, current information flows without chasing multiple owners
  • Define and publish SLAs for DDQ/RFP turnaround and report quarterly on deals unblocked or accelerated, quantified in ARR
  • Track every open request and flag at-risk deals to Sales leadership before they slip

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years owning VDDQs, RFPs, and RFIs end to end, ideally in a regulated B2B SaaS environment
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GLBA/Reg S-P, and SEC/FINRA vendor oversight expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical and legal detail into plain-English, customer-ready language under deadline pressure
  • Experience building repeatable process and structure—data room taxonomy, knowledge base, SLAs—rather than one-off firefighting
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Engineering, and Product to source accurate answers
  • Experience operating directly with prospects' and customers' security, compliance, and vendor-management teams, including on live diligence calls
  • Experience in or selling to financial services, wealthtech, or another regulated industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
