Position Summary
As a Trial Ownership Sales Representative in our Encore Program, you'll drive sales conversations with pre-qualified prospects who are ready to explore vacation ownership. This full-time role offers the opportunity to leverage consultative selling techniques, build relationships with high-intent guests, and earn competitive compensation through commission-based rewards for successful trial ownership conversions. The Encore Program values professionals who bring established sales expertise and a polished approach to the timeshare industry.
What You'll Do
- Conduct consultative sales presentations with trial guests, highlighting the benefits and flexibility of Marriott Vacation Club ownership
- Guide prospects through property tours, amenity showcases, and ownership model education in a professional, non-pressured manner
- Qualify leads efficiently and identify genuine buyer intent to maximize conversion opportunities
- Close trial ownership agreements and coordinate next steps with the management and finance teams
- Build lasting relationships with new owners and ensure a positive brand experience from first contact through close
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, presentations, and outcomes using CRM systems
- Exceed individual and team sales targets while upholding Marriott standards for customer service and integrity
What You Bring
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within hospitality, timeshare, or high-ticket consumer goods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle objections
- Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to embrace commission-based earnings
- Professional presentation style and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
