Position Summary
As Director of Travel at Interval International, you'll lead strategic initiatives that shape our travel offerings and member experiences. This position oversees the design, execution, and optimization of travel programs, partnerships, and member engagement activities. You'll collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional travel value and drive the success of Interval's travel-centric portfolio.
Core Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive travel program strategies aligned with company objectives and member preferences
- Build and maintain relationships with travel partners, vendors, and destinations to expand offerings and maximize member value
- Oversee teams responsible for travel program operations, member services, and partner coordination
- Analyze member data and market trends to identify opportunities for new travel experiences and program enhancements
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and profitability metrics for travel initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards across all travel programs
- Lead marketing and communication efforts to promote travel offerings to members
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in travel, hospitality, vacation, or related industry leadership roles
- Proven track record developing and launching travel programs or member experience initiatives
- Strong vendor and partnership management capabilities
- Demonstrated P&L management and budget accountability
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strategic thinking with attention to operational detail and customer experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, travel management, or related field preferred
