Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Travel MedSurg LPN to join their team in Lou Del, Monroe County, serving the St. Louis, Missouri area.

About the Role

This full‑time travel position places licensed practical nurses at the forefront of medical‑surgical care, working alongside registered nurses and physicians to deliver consistent, high‑quality patient support in a dynamic healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address each patient’s medical needs and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs continuously, documenting changes and communicating findings to the nursing and medical teams.
• Administer prescribed medications, oversee intravenous therapies, and manage wound care and dressing changes with precision.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff, ensuring adherence to care protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient education, discharge planning, and follow‑up instructions.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with all facility policies, state regulations, and accreditation requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Active LPN license in good standing within the state of Missouri (or eligibility for compact licensure).
• Recent experience in a medical‑surgical or acute care environment, preferably with travel or float pool exposure.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including the ability to recognize subtle changes in patient status.
• Proficiency with medication administration, IV therapy, and basic wound care techniques.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on patient‑centered care.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns and facility cultures while on assignment.
• Commitment to maintaining professional development through continuing education or certifications as needed.
