About the Role
As an Interventional Radiologist, you'll perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures using advanced technology in a fast-paced healthcare setting. What You'll Do
- Conduct image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions across multiple organ systems
- Evaluate patient imaging studies and clinical history to determine procedural approaches
- Perform catheter-based procedures, biopsies, ablations, and other minimally invasive techniques
- Monitor patients during and immediately following procedures, managing complications as needed
- Document all procedures thoroughly and communicate findings with the clinical team
- Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, cardiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with valid unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (ABRF, FSIR, or equivalent)
- Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Radiology
- Active DEA registration
- Demonstrated experience performing interventional procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in clinical settings
- Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
