Your Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanner equipment according to facility protocols and manufacturer specifications
  • Position patients safely and precisely to obtain diagnostic-quality images

  • Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
  • Communicate imaging findings and patient status to radiologists and clinical team members
  • Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately in medical records
  • Support equipment maintenance and report technical concerns to supervisory staff

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography with CT registry eligibility or active CT certification
  • Valid state radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility to obtain New Mexico licensure
  • Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging principles
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 12-hour schedule
  • Strong interpersonal and patient communication abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to radiation safety and quality patient care standards
