Director of Multifamily Management (Columbus, Ohio)

Drucker and Falk seeks a full-time Director of Multifamily Management to lead our multifamily portfolio in the Dublin, Franklin County area. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll own strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance across your assigned properties.

What This Role Involves

As Director of Multifamily Management, you'll serve as the senior leader for a portfolio of multifamily residential communities. Your strategic vision will drive property-level performance, enhance resident satisfaction, and maximize asset value. You'll build and mentor a team of Regional Property Managers and Property Coordinators, setting operational and financial standards across the portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day operations and financial performance of multiple multifamily properties
• Develop and execute strategies to improve occupancy, rental rates, and resident retention
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Regional Property Managers and support staff
• Monitor budgets, capital expenditures, and P&L statements to ensure financial targets are met
• Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and compliance standards across properties
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee capital improvement projects
• Report performance metrics and strategic initiatives to executive leadership

Requirements

• Proven senior-level leadership experience in multifamily property management or real estate operations
• Demonstrated expertise in portfolio management, financial analysis, and P&L responsibility
• Strong knowledge of multifamily industry practices, regulatory compliance, and market trends
• Excellent people management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with property management software and standard office applications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in real estate, business, or related field
• Ability to travel as needed for property visits and regional oversight
