About This Position
Join a dynamic imaging department as a contract CT Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. Working rotating 12-hour shifts, you'll be operating advanced imaging equipment and delivering quality diagnostic scans. This role is ideal for licensed technologists seeking short-term placement, meaningful clinical contribution, and the flexibility that comes with travel healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment following established protocols and physician orders
- Position and prepare patients for scanning while explaining procedures and managing patient comfort
- Maintain image quality standards and adjust technical parameters as needed
- Document patient information, scanning protocols, and scan results accurately
- Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control measures
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff
- Respond to equipment alerts and report maintenance issues to facility biomedical teams
Who We're Looking For
- Valid CT Technologist license or certification in your state of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on CT imaging experience
- Comfort with rotating 12-hour shifts, including night assignments
- Proven ability to adapt to new facility workflows and equipment variations
- Strong patient communication and clinical judgment
- Willingness to relocate or arrange local housing for the 13-week contract
