EY is recruiting a Technical Consultant – Senior Manager to lead Guidewire platform implementations for property and casualty insurance clients in our Sacramento, Sacramento County office. This full-time role combines advanced technical expertise with strategic consulting on the Guidewire ecosystem.

About the Role

As a senior-level technical consultant, you'll architect and oversee complex Guidewire platform solutions for P&C insurance carriers. You'll partner with clients to translate business requirements into scalable platform strategies, mentor consulting teams, and ensure implementations deliver measurable value. This position sits at the intersection of technology and financial services, where your expertise directly shapes how insurers operate.

Core Duties

• Design and lead Guidewire platform implementations, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter modules
• Assess client technical infrastructure and recommend platform optimization strategies
• Guide cross-functional delivery teams through complex integration and configuration work
• Serve as the technical authority on P&C insurance workflows and Guidewire best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives
• Mentor junior consultants and build team capability in Guidewire technologies
• Manage client relationships and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire platforms in production environments
• Deep knowledge of P&C insurance operations, underwriting, billing, and claims processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale implementations and mentor technical teams
• Strong communication and client management abilities
• Experience with system integration, data migration, and solution architecture
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
