Territory Manager – Deniliquin, Beef

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential agtech client who is transforming livestock management across Australia. This Territory Manager role, based in the Riverina region (ideally Deniliquin), offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change in beef operations while building a rewarding career in agricultural technology sales.

As Territory Manager for the Deniliquin beef sector, you'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and relationship building through to closing deals and ensuring customer success. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel throughout your territory to engage directly with beef producers.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, industry events, referrals, and responding to inbound enquiries
• Manage the complete sales pipeline from lead qualification through contract negotiation and close
• Meet ambitious growth targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
• Provide post-sale account management, ensuring customers maximize value from the technology solution
• Support customer onboarding and deployment, coordinating smooth handoffs to implementation teams
• Build deep relationships across the regional beef industry and agricultural networks
• Gather field insights and customer feedback to inform product development and improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Support, Product, and other regional sales colleagues
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers in your territory, escalating issues as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven value-based sales experience with a track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
• Experience in post-sales value creation and upselling to grow existing partnerships
• Strong understanding of beef operations and the unique challenges facing beef producers, or deep passion and willingness to learn the industry rapidly
• Ability to manage a large territory with balanced focus on both sales growth and customer success
• Critical thinking skills to make appropriate trade-offs in territory management
• Resourceful problem-solver who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams
• Team-oriented attitude with authentic energy and passion for customer interactions
• Thrives under pressure and takes ownership of results
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the territory
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Riverina region, ideally Deniliquin
