Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential facilities and building systems organization in their search for a Telecom Engineer. This is a remote position within the United States, with occasional travel required. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions including Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect
• Administer and maintain POTS lines for life-safety systems and regulatory compliance
• Manage SIP trunking services including call routing, failover configurations, and quality optimization
• Support auto attendants, call queues, voicemail systems, E911 services, and telephone number management
• Manage cellular services including device provisioning, carrier plan administration, and lifecycle management
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and perform root-cause analysis for telecommunications issues
• Coordinate with carriers and third-party vendors for service delivery, troubleshooting, and escalation
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including call flows, system inventories, and operational runbooks
• Ensure compliance with E911 regulations, Kari's Law, and RAY BAUM's Act

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of enterprise telecommunications or voice engineering experience
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Teams Voice
• Strong understanding of POTS, SIP protocols, and PSTN connectivity
• Demonstrated experience working directly with telecommunications carriers
• Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience configuring and managing Direct Routing Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
• Experience implementing E911 solutions and emergency notification systems
• Familiarity with legacy PBX systems and migrations
• Relevant telecommunications or Microsoft certifications
