Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology company that is building next-generation intelligent applications. Our client is hiring a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their recruiting function in South Korea. This role will focus on identifying and hiring exceptional technical talent across engineering and AI disciplines.

As their talent partner, you will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and closing engineers in high-demand areas including AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, and infrastructure. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and build targeted talent pipelines from leading technology companies, AI startups, and research organizations.

Responsibilities

• Source and headhunt engineers across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure, and other technical disciplines through proactive outreach
• Build targeted talent maps across relevant technology companies, AI startups, research organizations, and technical communities
• Review technical profiles in depth, assessing the substance, complexity, and relevance of candidates' work beyond titles and company names
• Conduct recruiter screens to evaluate experience, motivation, communication skills, compensation expectations, and role fit
• Manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle from first outreach through interviews, offer negotiation, and closing
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and continuously refine candidate targeting strategies
• Maintain a high-quality recruiting pipeline with accurate candidate data, feedback, and status updates in the applicant tracking system

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience with meaningful exposure to software engineering or other technical hiring
• Proven experience proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applications
• Ability to understand technical profiles and distinguish strong, relevant experience from keywords and titles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage passive technical candidates
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple searches and candidates simultaneously
• Strong ownership mentality and willingness to learn technical domains quickly
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with high hiring standards

Preferred:

• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, mobile, or other highly technical roles
• Experience recruiting internationally across the US, Europe, or Asia
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and other sourcing or recruiting tools
