Engagement Manager (US – ET)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential climate technology company in their search for an Engagement Manager to partner with enterprise customers in aviation and energy. Our client builds software platforms that enable organizations to manage lower-carbon fuel programs and carbon management initiatives. Their customers include major airlines, Fortune 500 corporations, and energy sector leaders.

This is a remote role that must be based in Illinois, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Florida. The position requires Eastern Time zone alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own total responsibility for a portfolio of key enterprise customers within the aviation, energy, and logistics sectors
• Become the expert on each customer's sustainability program, understanding their objectives and guiding platform utilization to achieve these goals
• Cultivate high-trust relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations, from Sustainability teams to Procurement departments
• Drive customer success by assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs and identifying new commercial expansion opportunities
• Manage complex software deployments, overseeing implementation of decarbonization programs including sustainable fuel and carbon offset solutions
• Collaborate with Technical Implementation Managers and cross-functional teams to execute operational tasks and achieve program objectives on time
• Proactively educate yourself on carbon-related requirements and market trends impacting customers and their industries
• Deliver structured product feedback internally and champion customer needs across the organization
• Drive continuous improvement across Technical Implementation, Customer Operations, and Customer Success functions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution, ideally in the hard sciences
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated success in management consulting, SaaS implementation, enterprise project management, or similar roles
• Technical capability and comfort with highly configurable SaaS solutions; experience with API integrations and enterprise-grade software is a plus
• Experience in enterprise software organizations relating to carbon markets, fuel markets, or carbon accounting is highly valued
• Polished presentation skills with comfort discussing technical and commercial topics with external stakeholders
• Self-directed problem solver who takes initiative and listens carefully to customer needs
• Flexibility with work hours to support global customers and colleagues across time zones
• Openness to frequent travel on short notice
• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
• Must be based in Illinois, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Florida
