Technical Product Lead – AI Stockbroking App

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a fast-growing, confidential fintech organization expanding across regulated financial products in Southeast Asia and globally. They are building an AI-powered platform covering payments, trading, insurance, and wealth management—products that move real money and require rigorous technical discipline, regulatory compliance, and user trust.

We are searching for a Technical Product Lead to own a product vertical end-to-end. This is a remote role based in Germany, working with distributed teams across multiple time zones. You will shape strategy, drive technical design with engineering, navigate regulatory requirements, and ship reliable products where AI genuinely improves outcomes—not as a default.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical from strategy and metrics through roadmap, priorities, and delivery
• Shape technical design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Build regulatory requirements into the product, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI where it improves outcomes, with clear evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products around external dependencies, including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around clear product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Experience working closely with engineers and ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working in a global, distributed team

Nice to have: Engineering or highly technical product background; experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products; experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products.
