Tech Operations Analyst – Graduate (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential travel technology organization in their search for a Technical Operations Analyst. This is an excellent graduate-level opportunity to join a Control Room team supporting a high-volume platform that serves millions of users daily. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to monitor systems, investigate incidents, and contribute to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily system operations to maintain smooth platform processes and identify potential issues early
• Assist in investigating reported technical issues, troubleshooting errors, and supporting rapid incident resolution
• Conduct technical investigations using database queries and log analysis to identify root causes of system problems
• Run SQL queries to gather operational insights, validate technical issues, and identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with senior team members on operational projects and participate in testing new internal tools
• Manage clear, effective communication with internal teams and external partners during issue resolution
• Support the development of long-term fixes by developing deep understanding of the technical stack

What We're Looking For

• 0–2 years of professional experience or a relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with basic SQL queries, database concepts, and log analysis
• Comfortable learning and working with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic
• Experience or knowledge of PostgreSQL and BigQuery is beneficial
• Strong curiosity about how complex technical systems work and genuine interest in solving technical problems
• Excellent written and spoken English with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Adaptability and comfort working in fast-paced technology environments while managing multiple priorities
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira is a plus
