Teamlead PR & Communications (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential communications agency in Berlin seeking an experienced Team Lead for PR & Communications. Our client operates in the lifestyle and brand communications space, working with a diverse portfolio of creative brands. This is a full-time position (80-100%) available in December 2026, with flexible hybrid working options from their Kreuzberg office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a PR team through regular one-on-one meetings, goal setting, and performance monitoring
• Provide team coaching with a focus on PR content development and skill advancement
• Optimize workflows and structures within the PR department
• Manage team-related planning in close coordination with leadership and HR, including interviews, onboarding, vacation planning, and capacity management
• Serve in an advisory role across all PR client accounts
• Support and guide PR managers on projects, strategies, and daily PR operations
• Conduct client consultations and participate actively in hands-on PR work
• Prepare cost estimates and monitor project progress
• Participate actively in client meetings and support new client onboarding processes
• Define, analyze, and continuously develop PR KPIs
• Plan budgets ensuring balanced creative output and financial performance
• Oversee billing for PR work and maintain complete budget oversight

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in brand communications, ideally in lifestyle PR
• Strong network within German media landscape (preferred)
• Proven experience leading teams
• Proficiency with PR tools and business management systems
• Ability to independently define, analyze, and develop PR KPIs
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight
• Empathetic leadership style that fosters solution-oriented work approaches
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on team cohesion
• Ability to establish clear, appreciative communication and feedback processes
• Interest in modern leadership concepts and New Work methodologies
• Fluency in German is essential for this role
