What This Role Involves
As a Swim Instructor, you'll provide quality swimming and water safety instruction in both group and private settings. - Plan and organize aquatic programs and instructional sessions for the Aquatics Division
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices
- Create an engaging, supportive environment that builds student confidence and skills in the water
- Work collaboratively with the Aquatics Division team to maintain a safe and welcoming facility
- Provide feedback and progress tracking for students and parents
What You Bring
- Strong swimming ability and intermediate aquatic knowledge
- Experience teaching or instructing swimming to diverse age groups
- Genuine passion for water safety education and youth development
- Clear communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Physical capability to perform medium work, including occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to work effectively under direct supervision
