Support Team Member

City Year is hiring a Support Team Member to serve full-time in public schools across North Bethesda, Montgomery County, where you'll deliver direct academic and social-emotional support to students who need it most.

About the Role

As a Support Team Member at City Year, you'll join an AmeriCorps program dedicated to strengthening student outcomes in local schools. This full-time position puts you at the center of classroom instruction and intervention, working closely with educators to help every student succeed.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions customized to individual student learning goals
• Build mentoring relationships that boost student engagement and confidence
• Support classroom instruction by assisting teachers with lessons and learning activities
• Lead small-group skill-building interventions focused on academic progress
• Partner with school staff to align your efforts with instructional priorities
